Review: Night`s watch by Iguazzu art studio
Today I would like to post a brief review of one of my latest acquisitions . A true treasure in my opinion! This is one of the busts that launched in March the Korean brand Nuts Planet, whose reference is NP- B001 “Night’s Watch”.
The bust , clearly inspired by a famous TV series, has been sculpted by Jun- sik Ahn. A great sculptor who has already shown his talent in other works of this same brand. But let’s see what we¡ll find into the box ….
The packing box is the usual, with photo of the box art painted by Myeong-ha Hwang on the main face, so it can serve as a reference for painting. One detail that I like and I have pointed out elsewhere, is the fact that they include the names of the sculptor and the painter. I think it’s a great way to recognize their works and many other brands should take note of this little detail.
Inside the box , protected between two layers of sponge, we find the parts of the bust. Four pieces total, one is a small pedestal to place the bust. To avoid losses, the hilt of the sword is kept in a small bag .
In the photos you can appreciate the size of the bust, but what I really like to highlight is the complete absence of mold lines. As much as I ‘ve searched and searched carefully, I haven’t been able to find anything beyond the resin flanges ( easily removed ). So the casting that is employing this brand is amazing quality, as we checked in the Aquilifer review .
