Night's Watch - Nutsplanet - 1/10

Nutsplanet company started by producing caricature figure, also known as Super Deformed (SD). But now they expanded their offer by busts. First bust released by them is Night’s Watch in 1/10 scale. It represents John Snow also known as Starks bastard from books series of “Song of Ice and Fire” written by George R.R. Martin or from TV series called Game of Thrones. The Busts represents the character after he joined the Night’s Watch and the resemblance to actor Kit Hartington who plays John Snow is noticeable. Bust is produced in resin in 1/10 scale, it was sculpted by Jun-Sik Ahn and the box-art was painted by Meyong-ha Hwang.

I ordered the bust just after it was released with an economic delivery which should take 2-3 weeks. I was very surprised to see it arrive just after one week. Entire package was packed in bigger box with enough filler to protect it from any kind of potential damage. Bust is packaged in standard blue carton box in which all figures from Nutsplanet are packaged.

After opening, the box is filled with black foam which protects elements from being damaged. Bust consists of four grey resin elements: torso, head, swords hilt and plinth.

Torso is very nicely sculpt it resambles the clothing of John Snow really well. The fur on his shoulders is very life like and it will make the painting process a pure pleasure.

Plinth allows the bust to be presented on its own or also to be attached to a different type of base. In most busts this element is as standard piece of straight shaft or piece of tube. But in this bust it a great addition as it represents the Wall that divides Westeros from the wildlings.

Head is magnificently sculpted and resemblance to Kit Harington is great. Slight overgrowth and hair represent the character of bastard greatly.

Last and the smallest element is swords hilt of our hero. It represents the wolf from Starks crest.

Entire bust is beautiful and represents one of the most recognizable characters from the series of „Song of Ice and Fire” or the Game of Thrones. Detailed representation of the hero and the resemblance to the actor makes this one of the must have kits in your collection if you are fan. Beautiful sculpt and highest quality of cast will meet expectations even of the most fastidious modelers.
